  • this is the year that the state of Arizona had a little trouble because thy did not reckoned Martin Luther King day many of the universities boycotted this bowl the only two teams that would play in it was louisville and alabama i watched this game thought it would be close one boy was i wrong. was this gene stallings first bowl game as head coach for the tide

  • I remember that nightmare......

  • Thanks for the correction, I'll make the change. The parade did take place in 1990, but the Bowl game came after the New Year. Also, I agree with regards to the Willard Scott reaction, and I admire his cohost for playing along! I'll try to post higher resolution videos of the performances of this and other bands as soon as I obtain better software.

  • haha I know I laughed when I watched it.

  • You're right. It was the 1991 Fiesta Bowl. It came at the end of the 1990 season.

I marched in the MDB at that time, but didn't show up on the screen in this video. The band, I felt, did a great job at the Bowl that year.

By the way, the Willard Scott reaction to the Crisonettes is hilarious.

  • are you sure that isn't at the 1991 Fiesta Bowl?>
