More Time - Bethany Mann Original Song!

This is a song that I have written about the death of my Dad, the wonderful Geoff Mann x

It took a while for me to actually sit down and write a song about it, as I wanted to make him proud but I think I am happy enough with this song.

I also wanted to bring a sense of hope...it is obviously incredibly hard to have had a parent die but I want people to know that they shouldn't let it consume them. Whoever you've lost wouldn't want that anyway I'm sure xxx

More Time

Only two years old,
Lost daddy's hand to hold
Only could hold air.
Some days I lost my breath
Felt I had nothing left
Thought nobody would care.

And even though I felt my life had crashed and burned,
I looked around and saw I was not the only one concerned
Looked again and saw the people that I have
And I realised that my life really isnt so bad

Whenever that question was raised
I would hide from the world
But now I hold my head up high
And answer with a great big smile
"Yes I'm my daddys little girl"
