well, don't know if you've already gone and watched it but will tell you anyway. Rose( bp) is ordinary shop girl. A gorgeous 900 year old alien blows up her job and they go traveling around time and space together saving lives annoying queens and falling in love. they give up thier lives for each other. also has the gorgeous david tennant in series two! anyhoo, they fall in love, get separated for ever, angsty ending where rose tells him he loves her and he doent get time to say it back. sniff!
Was this actually written about this particular Rose? Because the entire time, I was sitting here thinking "How is this song SO perfect?!"
I really did adore this video! It was uplifting and cheery, although it didn't let you forget that angle of sadness. This is probably the truest representation of the Doctor and Rose that I've ever seen.
YesGeoff Smith confirms this in a post on his website. Google Geoff Smith and go to the official website. Use the search tool in the top right hand corner to search the term Rose and you'll find the post. I wonder if he knew what he was getting into when he wrote it? Doctor Who fans around the globe constantly asking, "Did you REALLY write this for Rose?" Considering I bought the song immediately upon hearing it...(and I'm probably not the only one) I'd guess that he doesn't mind too terribly.
