@cleanhomer Yeah, that's like up here in Canada. Everyone seems to think that if you have a major left party, and a major right party it's like in the states, but our Conservative party is only marginally more right wing than the US's Democrats. Republicans are in their own category, really.

@waafist LOL! My brother is a conservative Republican, but he's also a strong environmentalist. I've been told that Tories are right-wing, but are closer to conservative or moderate Democrats than Republicans. The GOP would be considered VERY right-wing in Britain!

I don't know much about British politics, but Tories seem to be like American Republicans. I know a few gay Republicans. We're all just people.
