Today, 23 million children and teenagers are overweight or obese. Thats more than 1 in every 3 young people. Latinos are younger, poorer and more overweight/obese than other population groups.

@deltaenforcer93 I couldn't help it but not to comment. How can people be so disgustingly rude? Does it make you feel better to insult people? I really don't get why people are so racist these days. Learn to LOVE you ignorant fuck. And no, I'm not Mexican. I'm sure you automatically thought that. You just keep doing your thing and stay behind your computer, safely. Learn how to respect people. Maybe you'll learn something one day.
Anyways, I'm done talking. I'll see you in hell.

Good points on the cultural standpoint. My Mother in Law is from the Philippines and is constantly shoving cookies and candy into my 4 year old's mouth just to make her eat something. My inlaws have type 2 diabetes and are in horrible health due to their diet but won't make that connection. My daughter's school is almost entirely Hispanic and the school lunches are junk food and teachers pass out candy as motivators. Almost all of the parents and teachers are obese. Just an observation.

1:30 is amazingly well done. Lower income = higher chance of obesity due to having less resources to pay for healthy foods. The answer? Exercise. Exercise I say!
No time? Make time!.It's hard? So is watching your child suffer through hypertension, diabetes and a less fulfilling life. Walk around more. Place your computer on a stand-up desk.
And stay away from pure junk food / snacks!
Do I cheat? Yes, But PERSISTENCE is key. Keep at it & Never give up!

@deltaenforcer93 And quit making unethical racial comments about Mexicans. Maybe you should learn politically correct statements before you open your mouth. I hope you feel great about yourself sitting behind your computer putting down an ethnicity that isn't your own. I thought this was the 21st century.

@deltaenforcer9 "Not to be mean or anything" ...you've definitely crossed that line. Maybe if you watched the video, you'd realize that the immigrants who come over are less likely to be fat than the ones that are born here. Don't be so ignorant. No one is dying here. In case you didn't realize, Hispanics are already the largest minority in the United States and WE'RE growing. Don't be so naive to the fact that there are more Hispanics out there than just Mexicans.

If you want to avoid obesity, its pretty simple: don't snack, if money is the problem, cut back on meats, and most of all PLAY SPORTS OR EXERCISE REGULARLY. stop following what the TV tells you

Ancient Spaniards are called Iberians, hispania was the term the Romans gave when they conquered the Iberian peninsula. It is even possible that Iberians were not indo-europeans
