No, this is NOT this kid's fault. It pisses me off so MUCH when parents will go out and buy pets that are high maintenance, like reptiles, for their children but won't buy the things they need because 'they don't need it" or it's "too expensive", A UVB bulb is not expensive compared to what your parents paid for the beardie in itself. Not to mention, you may be a smart responsible kid, but you should also NOT be 100% responsible for this pet.

'no son, im not buying you a lightbulb'< gayest thing said. without UVB dragons have no vitamin D, no bone strengh, legs will shake and b painful for them and for u to watch. essentials for beardie in order of importance: UVB bulb, basking spot, cold area, hide. i actually waited 2 days for my beardie cause i didnt have a UVB.
