@fabriou There are examples of Di Stefano covering.Perhaps not as much as most tenors.However he does cover A Te O Cara 1952 Cielo E Mar, O Tu Che Seno Agli Angeli1956,Speaking Italian&singing Italian is not really the same. As speaking Neoplitan is not sung as it is spoken.Even your example of Ridi PagliAccio&PagliOccio,The PagliOccio when sung will really sound like PagliAccio&will help protect the voice.Di Stefano new how to cover,but chose not to.He also sounded beautiful when covering.Enjoy

It's hard to imagine anyone not loving what DiStefano does here. He is one of the most impassioned, gifted lyric tenors who ever lived, and this is heart breaking. Bravo, Giuseppe.
