Using MediTech on the iPad In Action (PACS Too!)

iTap RDP works MUCH better than Citrix or 2X due to the solving of the "fat finger" issue (contextual magnification). The workflow is a bit more streamlined at our Meditech hospital.

MEDITECH ~ FROM URBAN DICTIONARY:

Oxymoron of the highest degree. A medical record program that looks like it runs on a commodore 64. BUT is in active use today. It may be the single lamest implementation in medical records. Pinnacle in the ass end of medical technology. Aka Umbehrtech.

Do you find the lack of function keys on they iPad keyboard do be a hindrance while using Meditech?

Database interface is not designed to fingers.

May be, intranet web-based interface?

Lots of advantages: access from ipad, cellphone, user can adjust appearance in his browser etc.
