my mother was from meridian , i have visted james chaney's grave site, i heard there is still damage done to it from time to time, this part of history holds a special place in my heart, may they rest in peace and i wish i could say may god have mercey on the souls who did these terrible things but honestly i hope they had their justice after death since i dont believe they ever got what was comin to them from the state of mississippi. 10 yrs was the max semtence in these cases, very sad!
