This is a second version of the Keppe motor. It is actually a Newman motor.
Here I am using an electronic control where I trigger a photocuppler to energize
the coil and at the same time try to get the emf (back force) of the coil to charge
the second battery. This did not work as the electronic circuit used more amps then
the motor itself!! Thanks Stefan for your support here!

  • i see you have two 9v cells, battery and accumulator.

is the accumulator charging by harvesting the bemf?

  • Yes, that is the idea, but the electronics. consumes, too.

  • Hi, the Keppe Motor does not have a commutator like the Newman motor (no change in voltage direction). The coil is energized with current on/off triggered by a reed switch activated by a small magnet on the axis. You do not need a circuit as you have with the Bedini motor.
