How often does a fighter get up from a BRUTAL body shot like the one Ward administered on Gatti? EXACTLY. Not very often! That's why round 9 was one of the best rounds ever.

How many Mexican greats have we seen that are all heart get stopped in their tracks because of a body shot? Just within the last decade there have been quite a few. To get up from something like that and battle back to WHOOPING your opponent in the SAME ROUND that it happened is CRAZY!!

I think their three fights together really brought out the best in each of them, it was as if They where both born to grow up and fight each other.

Gatti may not have been the best boxer in the world, not even a Great boxer.. BUT No one.. No on can deny the heart that man had.

Those three fights will always be my favorites of all time
