As for Kuja I believe he was evil, however at the end his strong negative emotions left him and formed Necron, therefor Kuja was able to understand the truth, and changed his ways in his last hours. However this is just a theory, and my personal opinion, however it does make sense when you think about it.

Honestly a lot of final fantasy main characters are used as puppets. Just look at Cloud, he was used by Sephiroth to deliver him the black Matera which allowed Sephiroth to summon meteor. There some other noteworthy characters used as puppets as well, like Saifer and the Queendom of Alexandria (Brenne, Beatrice, etc). Sorry for any names I might have misspelled, I really don't pay that much attention to that sort of thing.

@piromaniac9999 Actually, I don't like Terra. That's not why I like Cecil, it has to do more with his personality than how he was used as a plot device during the course of that game.

@piromaniac9999 THat's what so great about Edgar. He's NOT the most noble. It makes his character more interesting to read and to write. I really enjoy both him and Sabin in that game, as well as Setzer. probably more than any other characters.

You probably like terra too,since she too was used as a puppet,but the difference is:She never had free will,and when she gets it,she doesn't know what to do.
