Lighting the candles of the menorah

When all the speeches are said and done, it's time to light the candles. Members of the community are called up to light the candles one-by-one. The first candle is lit by the organizer of the event, Rabbi Sholom Galperin. Representing Congregation Shaarey Zedek is Milt Dzodin. Congregation Shaar Hashomayim is represented by David Abraham. The student volunteers helping to erect the menorah are represented by University of Windsor student Ryan Gertzbein. Congregation Beth El is represented by Dr. Reuben Schnayer. The final candle was lit by the head of the Temple Beth El religious school, Laura Lieberman.
