  • This is one of the songs that my first parner adored dancing to when we used to go to the clubs back in the early 80's. Those days of disco, poppers and flashing lights ..just hearing this and I'm 21 again. Fantastic memories. Thanks for posting it

  • I could not have said it better!... It wasn't in England was it? In Manchester? In a club called Hero's? DJ Les Cockell? Good times! x

  • I first heard this in Studio One in LA.

  • Mandate, Pokies, Melbourne the 80's.....ahhhh...the memories this brings back!!!

  • Wow! I still remember turning 21 and dancing to this at the End-Up in San Francisco! Such great memories.

  • Mandate, late 1981 Melbourne Australia. Beer, sweat, flanellette shirts, smoke haze, leather, denim, wall-to-wall moustaches and back home, clean sheets on the bed.

  • Amen to all! 30 year later this is still "our song". I've got the album somewhere...need to find it, asap.

  • I may be freaking old now, but I would never trade in these amazing days for youth today...........they have no idea what they missed out on! I still go out here in Boston, and the music now is almost ignored and just a background beat.

  • I did sound for Viola Wills and for Phyllis Nelson .They were both great but I think Viola had a better instrument , I don't hear her as a sound alike at all

  • I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT MISS PHILIS NELIS IS A SOUND ALIKE FOR VIOLA WILLS

  • Sorry, used I meant here, not hear.:-)

  • I agree with many hear that this is a fantastic number from the classic years of disco. Another number that just transported you to a fantasy world. Interesting though, listening to it after so many years, you can hear that her voice is not all that great or strong, compared to many other disco divas of the era. But she deserves to get praised for at least bringing this song to us.
