A fire in a tunnel at the ARCO refinery in Carson continues to burn tonight. The fire was reported shortly after 5:00 PM and LA County Fire responded to assist the ARCO Fire Department in the operation. Over 100 firefighters are expected to be on scene overnight to continue the battle against this stubborn fire. According to LA County Fire PIO Sam Padilla (on camera), the fire broke out in a tunnel that transports a substance called "COKE" from the refinery to a storage yard.
