hello, I have an '85 300D Turbo. Due to...I blame soft suspension and nasty Indiana weather, my muffler has banged the ground so many times it blows badly and the resonator (replaced maybe 5 or 6 years ago dammit) nearly fell off due to rusting on the exhaust pipe. I'm looking to replace probably most everything from the headers back. A) Has your mod negatively affected boost, fuel economy, or any other factory performance spec? B) Do you have any pictures from underneath?

@Eznaxx diesels arent supposed to smoke. in europe if your diesel smokes, you get pulled over and sent to a shop. diesels only smoke when the fuel isnt being burned all the way.

What kind of boost do you see?
I was getting 15psi, then straight piped it today and get 17psi. It has a terrible drone right at 60mph!! Will have to put a resonator or high flow muffler on to take the drone away. (1982 300D Turbo)

@GreenVolvo It was making about 13lbs. I really didn't notice any droning on the highways though...
