And this I know, because the Lord hath said he dwelleth not in unholy temples, but in the hearts of the righteous doth he dwell. Alma 34:36

The idea that the Father and the Son dwell in a man’s heart is an old sectarian notion, and is false. D&C 130:3

Joseph Smith was DESTROYED less than a year later. Emma Smith remarried, and lived a long life.

Paul wrote in Ephesians 2:19- 20: "Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;"

I'm thankful and know that God loved us enough to send us apostles and prophets today to guide us in a world of turmoil and confusion. I know that God speaks to men on earth, and that revelation did not die with the apostles.
