(Chapter 9: City of Flames)
Here you have the choice to purge Xana from your body, this has storyline effects, there are four different endings, two for each option.
These special weapons are the most powerful in the game, and do double damage against the undead (including ghouls).

Items:

Daggers of the Dragonfang - 7:26
Staff of the Dragonbone - 7:37
Bow of the Dragonhorn - 7:38
(And the Sword of the Dragonclaw can now be used.)

Dark Messiah is a semi-progressive 2006 PC game with flashy gameplay and great graphics, but was marred by some repetition, a derivative story line and a limited skill tree.
Though the biggest mistake the game designers made was the placing of traps virtually everywhere enemies are found.
The game features fast paced melee combat, an outstanding musical score and great voice acting and is well worth playing.

Nice that you're trying both sides. Most of the other walkthroughs I've seen go Xana.
