"knockdown knockdown knockdown knockdown"
Any gun that can "knock someone down" will knock down the shooter.
Idiots.

There's a myth that a bullet, in this case a 45 but any bullet really, can knock a victim off his feet, by sheer kinetic energy alone.
They didn't say "stopping power" they said "knockdown power",
I don't know why so many people are hung up on this, since I got top comment i've been getting like three messages a day.

Give me a lump of wood with a rusty nail in any day.
That and a SPAS15-Automag.... and 6 satsumas in a net bag! Unstoppable combination right there!

You don't have to be a dick about it, for one. I don't care what guns you like or own, I'm not bashing them.
"stopping power" aka "probability of incapacitation" is a real thing.
"knockdown power" from a .45 cal bullet is not.
They were being way over dramatic about this gun dude, that's all I'm saying.

So you don't grasp the concept of "stopping power," do you? "Stopping power" and "knockdown potential" are interchangeable terms. If you're trying to make yourself sound intelligent, you're doing it wrong.

No, it is *not* CQC and CQB are interchangeable. Take a break from the videogames.

It's called a force multiplier, fool. There are more civilians than there are government representatives by a tremendous ratio. Your "unarmed" civilians could turn a line of cops into sticky red paste with their hands and feet, as has happened several times throughout history. However, this weapon is intended for use by special weapons and tactics divisions of law enforcement, for use in close-quarters combat against criminals. But you already knew that, surely.

You're right. Think about the safety of that poor, poor criminal. Disregarding *that,* there is the fact that your so-called "beanbag" ammunition - which is fired only from a large-bore weapon like a shotgun, and have fun carrying THAT around everywhere you go - is not even remotely 100% effective in stopping a violent aggressor, and anything less than 100% is not acceptable when there is an urgent need to defend one's life. Get real.
