Guitar playing Nylon acoustic Alegrias / NOT flamenco!

on Alegrias.
This is not flamenco!!!!!!!!!!

so you play hybrid but i'm interested if you use long nails on those 3 remaining fingers? i'd really appreciate the answer!

There are people out there, lets call them "Flamenco puro's", who would say this

is not flamenco simply for the reason, i am

using a plectrum (a pick) I got tired of them

constantly saying "you're not flamenco" so i now title my clips "not flamenco" to shut them up. :) Mad world eh? Cheers! GW

This is flamenco alright! It is clearly Alegrías and every bit in compás. So, what is he problem! Now a days people are playing flamenco on piano, Indian sitar (look up Anoushka Shankar), bass guitar, etc. & I don't hear anyone complaining about those, but all of the sudden, a clearly accomplished player like you uses a pick, now this is not flamenco! Granted, playing picado with pick is different, or some of the rasgueados can't be done using pick (I think!), but this is excellent. Congrats!!!
