  • yeah artofmixing can you respond to BotmixGames question? id like to know the difference

  • @DJWINK303 Busses are also for routing parallel signals through the 'send', if you don't use a buss you won't have a mult. output which is the essense of parallel compression, or any effect (say reverb) where you want to preserve the original dynamics of your sound.

  • Busses are for putting multiple tracks to a new aux channel. So you could have say two kick drums routed to the same channel and add effects to both. you didn't need the bus for that.

  • Max Martin <3

  • botmix u mix it so u can keep the kick sound

  • kinda agree with you on this... why need to assign it to a bus? maybe he has his own explanation for it, I'd like to know too as I'm still learning and experimenting audio engineering. :)

  • Why not just use the compressor as an insert then click on the little triangle and set the wet/dry mix? It's exactly the same thing w/o the need for a bus.
