I own a Raptor 700R I love it! Why? It's got great power for what I need! I don't do MX track, I go ride in trails, dunes and also whenever I need to backup in a tight spot, well it's got reverse! I love the YFZ 450 but that's not the kinda riding i'm looking for! Both ATV's are amazing so stop the bitching and go out and ride!!!

If someone wants a raptor then let them get a raptor.....

If you want a YFZ, then get one, it doesnt matter, both of them are fast quads, Raptor is more for Trail.....YFZ is MX...

hey i have a raptor that i have bought a stroker for it 4mil crank stage 1 cam stock valves and springs ported and polished,stock sprockets, im putting a single akuni carburator, heavy duty clutches, high compression stroker piston 11;1, 686 102mm jug. what do u think?

It all depends on how much money your willing to dump into your machine. I have to disagree with your statement that banshee's have the better top end. It all depends on you gearing, and four strokes have a much wider power band. So even if you do end up having a better top end, which I doubt. How much time do u need to catch up?

A pipe and a programmer is ok, but thats only scratching the surface. All I would need is a +5mm crank and a stage 3 cam with an exhaust system. but that still leaves an about 4000 left in my budget. I guess I could throw a big bore kit on there and add some nitrous. All i'm going say is there is no replacement for displacement, and you get what you pay for. Banshees were top dawg in their day, but they just do not compare to today's big bore four stoke monsters.

@armymedic1986 4th stroke makes the combusting with one gets the combusten first?? the two stroke the fast ur makeing combusten the more power ur making yea the raptor will when if u put a turbo or bottle on it but if u do tha same mobs to the banshee the banshee will win because its part are lighter and it makes combusten faster,and the raptors are so bad ass then why does every one hill cilmb banshee's and not raptors? and why do banshee's have faster timers up the hills then the raptor's?

@armymedic1986 ud know that a two stroke has more top end for drag racing thats a fact and ud also run that a two strokes power stroke is the second stroke unlike the four strokes when there power stroke is the fourth stroke. two stroke 1st stroke pulls gas and air on top of the piston sencon stroke piston goes up to the head and it combustets. 4 stroke 1st,going up air is pulled on top of the piston,2,pulls gas on top of the piston to go with the air,3 i belive its like a priming stroke

@armymedic1986 ok bt if u put the same money in a banshee who's gonna win then?? and for money to money i can make a banshee eat a raptor i just raced one like two days i think? it was an 09 i think it had a pipe and programer so with buying the quad what about 8500$? and my banshee shearer pipes ported 34mm carbs adv timing uni air filters cool head(15cc) lightend flywheel roughend cases cases matched to transfers and i only have around 1500$ even buying the bike and if u knew alot about motors
