Fox signed a 7-year deal because they know more than you do about this stuff and saw the longterm success of this deal. It's kind of hard to beat a Mayweather PPV in terms of numbers when you're putting a free show on Fox with fighters that most people dont know about. They arent trying to beat Mayweather's numbers, they're trying to give MMA fans more MMA to watch.
