Read the book of James. Works do not save you but they are the way others can judge if God has worked in you. If the Holy Spirit is in you, He will overflow into your life.

It IS in an instant. Being baptized in the spirit, the Holy Spirit, happens in ONE MOMENT. It is not a gradual process. After your baptism it is a process, but not before.

Very few preachers speak the whole truth as Paul. May God Bless him and help him in spreading his true message.

So sad to resort to such filth after listening to such a powerful message.

(...) Furthermore, if you'd listened to more of Paul's preaching, you'd see quite clearly how much the man believes in grace. Calvinism --- which comes from the Bible (not Calvin) --- teaches nothing BUT free, unmerited grace. Man doesn't change his own heart; that's the Holy Spirit's job in regeneration. What Paul teaches is that if GOD does a true work of regeneration, a person's life will begin to change slowly (which is true). Paul nowhere teaches instant perfection whatsoever.

Sorry if I believe that everyone can be saved, and that salvation comes from faith and faith alone - I GUESS I MUST BE GOING AGAINST THE BIBLE.

Calvinism is the exact opposite of that, and you KNOW it. Only a fool says you must turn away from sin to be saved.

whosoever may come, anyone can come to the fountain of life.

Do not complicate salvation; that is satan's favourite trick.

devonrose742 You are right in guessing you are going against the Bible and hopefully not intentionally please let me explain: Anyone may be saved if they would put their faith in Christ Jesus of Nazareth and immediately upon doing so that individual receives the Holy Spirit. You say the change is not instant and I disagree. The change is that you have the Holy Spirit the outside might not be completely changed but that process of change has begun at that point. You will know a tree by it's fruit

Matthew ch7:13-14 says that The multitude Will go to hell, so Not Everyone will be saved.
