New Yorkers speak out on torture

Barak Obama's officials have released memos detailing the interrogation methods used by the Bush administration. Online journalist Lori 'The Resident' Harfenist asked New Yorkers whether torture was ever justified.

People really seem to be brainwashed to think that torture is justified.

Under continuing torture most of people admit things they never did because they don`t want to be turtured any more. You can`t get reliable information or confessions due to torture. Torture is inhuman and a crime.

America is a beacon of hope to the world still. What made America great is honest money policy, trade tariffs, and a national manufacturing base paying a living wage that was invested BACK to the community. Just because three AlQaeda mass murderers got a shower for the first time in their lives, that's not torture.
