I broke my leg 2 months ago tibia and fibula (tibia in 2 places fibula in 1 ) they stuck a metal rod in me so ... I dodn't get a cast . will my recovery llast that long ?

@MrPulamea Sorry to ruin your hopes, but yes probably. You will have to undergo Physical Therapy. It will be 9 months til your leg is normal, not til you can walk again.

ya i just broke my femer last week and it totaly sucks i cant go back 2 skool 4 rest of year abd bodycasts sux rocks so never cclimb up on soccer goal post abd they fall over and land on ur leg to break it in half dudes!

Take care of it I broke mine in a ski-doo accident when | was 12 I will be 30 in a month and I need a 3rd hip replacment then things are made for old ppl they dont last

broke my tibia and fibula about 3 months ago i still have another month before full rcovery and had no surgery had to let it heal on its own had a cast halfway up my thigh though

@MrPulamea it might take a while i shattered my ankle about 3 years ago and had 3 screws and a plate put in it took about 2 to 3 month before i was walking again and another good 7 aw 8 months of physio so about a good year all up and i still have aching and troubles with it from time to time

Broke my femur and fractured my back in 3 spots when I cased a triple on my yz250f last week. Last lap too.lol I'm a chick and the surgery ruined my butt.lol Nothing like a foot long scar on the hip.

I collided in baseball and broke my femur. Doctor said he's never seen any X-ray like it but im healing pretty fast.

To be honest it reallt didnt look like he broke it. Skin moves it looked bent because of his hand pushing the skin up. I've never held my leg in that position when i've broken it.

Not many people do break their femur, it is the biggest and hardest in your body to break.
