@Therther48 Thanks! Mango seems to be a popular name for Sun Conures. My Mango is now around 18 months. Her colouring is becoming more and more vibrant as she matures.
She's so cute! I also have a Sun Conure named Mango! I also have a boy Sun Conure named Kiwi. Mango is about 1 year and 2-3 months and Kiwi is about 9-10 months.
@MsPerroquet Thanks! Yes, 6 months was about the time that Mango had his first molt and the green went away bringing brighter yellow colours to the wings. By the time they are around 3 years old is when their full colour plumage is in which will be even more vibrant and beautiful. As far as the perch, I would hold a peanut at the perch and constantly point at it saying, "perch". He would fly anywhere for that peanut. Now he will fly there on his own without a peanut just by saying "perch".
How adorable!! I just got a Sun Conure myself. When this video was made, your Sun was six months old. Is this about the time he started his first molt and began turning more yellow and orange? The owners of the store we bought my Sun from said that around six months he should have his first molt and the green will go away. (You can see some videos of my Sun on my channel.) Also, how did you train him to fly to his perch like that?
@Therther48 Skittles would be a cute name :)

@PLA29184 I was going to name her Skittles but I thought of Mango. Maybe if Mango and Kiwi have eggs I could name one Skittles.......
