You go Meghan! Doesn't the bible supposedly say that all are equal in God's eyes? Besides, the bible is a just a tale trying to convince others to believe its ideas-- like any litery work would do. You don't have to believe or follow the ideas, just like any book would do.

A woman, according to the Bible, shouldn't become a college professor because she would be "teaching men" and women are never allowed to teach men. God, Man, Woman, and then Children. And I have no idea where a woman stands once her son becomes an adult.

Was that guy serious? Even before you spoke about his bullshit reasons for why women should stay at home, I raised my eyebrows at that one right away. Sure, maybe what I want to do will at times require me to be a "stay-at-home" mom, but I want to be a author so it's a little different than what that idiot was talking about... oh look what you got me in a ranting mood now Meghan. xD
A teacher is a good job that can lead into other things as well. Don't stress over it Meghan. :)
