Blizzard Authenticator Security Flaw

@CastelynTV Also (sorry for the double comment) I found at the time quite entertaining the fact that a method to prevent unauthorized access and prevent key logging was, in fact, bypassable with key logging. It's all this video is about.

@CastelynTV Actually the problem is rather different, and does not include another theoretical individual who shares another theoretical similar serial. The problem was in the possibility for an automated logger to use the informations used to log in one account to cross-log into the other semi-instantly. And that was even before the method of reversing the key that's in an authenticator given 3 different logged numeric auth codes.

@Wiesshund I could say in all honesty that Blizz has its fair share of guilt, could have improved security right away instead of waiting for the worse, but then again, it's Activision we're talking about, so...

Battle.net doesn't get hacked, your pc gets hacked, or more correctly keylogged.

Something you installed yourself with no help from blizzard (or you buy gold and character services)

That is no fault of blizzard.

The authenticator works fine.

@ZammyStr dont worry that happened to me too it scared the crap all of me my guildies told a GM to ban my account cause i got hacked after me sending blizz an email they told me that the aut was removed and i logged in fast changed my pass and got an aut myself my main had all of his badges converted to honor but everything was restored :} so i hope ur good
