  • It must be really confortable to go from 0 to 400 miles per hour in 2 seconds...

  • @j2anime Exactly what happens when you jump out of any other moving vehicle and meet the floor only this time you meet a train!

  • Ok, some people believe this is a good idea, but it's pretty dangerious. What will happen if the train is comming and i'm still between the door?

  • Awesome... Finally some creativity from Asia. So excited. Hopefully this is just a taste of all the cool new ideas to come.

  • as you can see it picks up speed slowly as the train passes underneath

  • @eyegr in that case*(50mph) We would need a 447(almost half kilometer) straight train track that doesn't make turns just to fit that amount of friction exactly, with a totally non-conservative engineering calculation with no error verge.

  • @jazzavantgarde

depending on the friction coefficient between the moving upper part (platform) and the stationary lower part (train) the time needed to acheive 400 mph could be more than 2 seconds. Also, I suppose that the train would not perform the switch of the upper parts on 400 mph but with a more sensible speed, about 50 mph.

With that speed and with a 20 second switch, the acceleration would be about the same with that of a plane taking off.

  • @fastestbird of course I get, bro. I just don't understand how, applying real physics, the train wagon in rest can go from zero to whatever the speed of the nonstop train is as smooth as in the video. It would be really easy to kill all the passangers with a bump like that if this thing doesn't work really well... (sorry for the poor english)

  • @EricNgNg Peng Yu-lun is taiwanese

  • @jazzavantgarde u just don't get the idea

  • Are you sure it is from Taiwan? ? ! It is from China right.
