Bruno Nicolai was the right-hand man of Ennio Morricone. Besides conducting many of the maestro's scores, he wrote many brilliant ones of his own. He often used the same players, including Alessandroni, Franco DeGemini, and Edda Dell'Orso.
Composer: Bruno Nicolai
Vocals: Edda Dell'Orso

Ok Nicolai is different from morricone because no humans are alike :).

Nicolai wasn't a Morricone clone at all, he had a great style and flair all his own you could make out clearly, often like here with a horn driven lounge type theme. Think Lenzi's Eyeball, for instance.

Great title theme by Bruno Nicolai. Good on his own, besides great work with Ennio Morricone. And Edda Dell'Orso---that heavenly voice.

Nicolai´s beautiful score perfectly matches the dreamlike, sensual tone of the film.

Actually it's embarrassing. Such well-crafted, sophisticated music, and such a - obviously - trashy, sleezy movie.

Nicolai was very good, but it's true, most of the time he was a clone of Morricone. But a great one! DEFENSE DE SAVOIR, L'HONORATA FAMIGLIA, JUSTINE, IL CONTE DRACULA, try to get them, they are stunning.
Bruno was in such symbiose with Morricone that the recordings he conducted for Ennio sound more Morriconean than Morricone himself. That's quite remarkable.
