Nagigi is a 900 inhabitants village in the south of Vanua Levu, Fiji.
The place is like paradies, increadible beach, crystal clear blue water, a small island offshore, rainforest and rivers with pools in the interior. But the best are the really lovely people and espacially the children! Enjoy paradies...
My mom is Fijian and we live in New York she always told me the Fijians are pacific islanders and that they have always been on these islands

Legend is told that the original Fijians lived in a village called Verata beside lake Tanganyika. Their paramount chief was Lutunasobasoba who married an Eygptian woman called, Nai. Its possible that they were traders travelling all over East and northern Africa - that was how the chief met Nai. They had to leave Africa to escape an epidemic of a 'wasting-away' disease which killed thousands. They travelled in 3 big canoes. Lutunasobasoba had 5 children.
