  • Connor is such a lovely dog! May I ask you how many times you brush him? I would love to have a Collie of my own, but I know the fur is very high maintenance...

  • @Lullyna91

Thankyou :) Connor needs brushing atleast once a week.. and during the weeks before spring that they 'blow' coat, it needs to be every day, within those weeks.

If brushing is not maintained, matting can occur, and usually the only way to get rid of them is to cut the matts out.

This has never happened to Connor, as we keep up his brushing

Aside from the brushing, they are a loyal, faithful, intelligent breed and I would highly recommend for someone who has the time to maintain

  • He's beautiful!

  • @annaj91LoveSPDavid

    Thankyou :)

  • Thats a Border Collie?

  • @2129261184

If you're going to try and tell me that he is a Border Collie, don't even bother.

If it is a question, no, he is not a Border Collie.

He is a Rough Collie, with a Tri coloured Coat.

They are different from Border Collies in so many different ways.

I would suggest you do some research if you want to challenge me to your incorrect theory.

  • Any dog can be a show dog with exceptions that the linage is correct with no incorrect breeding, and they are registered for show.

It is a personal preference to what is preferred to be shown.

Markings help, but do not limit the amount of success the dog may have.

  • @XxXFPVXxX man, that was unnecessarily agressive... there's a question mark so it's obviously a question. He/she is probably reffering to the other dog, the black and white one who, to me at least, looks like a border.

    Beautiful dog BTW, so adorable

  • What a beautiful boy!! I have a Sable and Blue. Getting a Tri in august!!

  • @XxXFPVXxX LOL, i know perfectly what a Rough Collie is, i breed them!

I´m talking about the other dog, the one Connor is playing with at the end of the video pushing his tail, that one is a Border Collie?

P.S- Right now i have a Blue Merle male (Windy) and a Tri-colour female (Saphira)

  • To new eagle wings I suppose you think prickd ears are the correct conformation as well. the collies on your youtube page would not show at all well in australia or the uk. Connor by the way has matured into a magnificant dog, with correct movement, bone, expression and ear set.
