Meccano and train paradise!

This is the Moseley Narrow Gauge Railway and Toy Museum at Tolgus Mount, Redruth, Cornwall, England. Marvel at the Meccano exhibits including what looks like the original massive shipbuilding crane depicted on the instructions of 1960s Meccano sets. Then there's a Lancaster, Vimy bomber, an airship... so many models and ancient Meccano sets that the mind boggles. It's also a model train enthusiast's delight, with trains on the floor and at waist height completely surrounding you. Outside you can ride on a real train, albeit an industrial narrow gauge one that goes on a 600-yard loop. It might be a relic of tin mining days, but I'm not sure. There's also a small coal mine museum -a bit out of place in Cornwall! -and a donkey ride. The perfect afternoon out for the child in you.
