No he wasn't. They both write incredibly well...but, each have their own distinct style. Rennick was never in a Float line. Float came and helped out in 94- 95, but I don't think he was there at all in 96'. Float was never there for more than 2-3 weeks at a time. Don't get me wrong...I look up to Float just as much as anyone. He is without a doubt a legend. However, I just think Rennick deserves more credit for the style and quality of this particular program.

its easy to see Tom Float's influence still existed with this program... Paul Rennick back then basically wrote identical to Float and was a Float protege'

That is funny! I am glad that I was able to be a part of that. Those were some of the funniest people I have ever met. And sadly we didn't get to go to PASIC that year, because that line was the most talented one I was on during my years there.
