While walking along the streets of Munich, we randomly decided to do a little experiment to find out if the cello player (who plays Pachebel's Canon) is truly unhappy? Enjoy=)

  • This is an alternate arrangement, the original cello part consists of 8 notes you repeate for the e n t i r e piece it is horrifically boring, I envy his guy I wonder if the arangment was improv. I've played the original for a wedding, it was painful D:

  • definetly!

uuuuh i remember hard times in school orchestra. the cello was just a whore for the violins such a long time in history!!!!

after 2 minutes of playing i got sooooo bored! ;)

  • how does a street performer have the money for a carbon-fibre cello?!

Sucks to be a poor student, i tell you :(

  • not as bored as the bassist I bet! It's a pretty arrangement, I've done a similar one. It's nice to have something that's not the exact same thing over and over!

  • The cellist isn't the one playing the bass line in this. . . The point is that the bass line is repetitive to the point of utter boredom. But even the bassist here is improving over the bass line to keep it from being boring. They're very good. I'm sure they're enjoying themselves.

  • @amaryllida wtf is wrong with me, so many mistakes! :p

  • @nessierose2 for cello it's easy :p thy the violin track on chello :p i played this piece with out ensemble and its pretty hard . I played cello and violon piece ^^ gl

BTW, the guy on the cello is way to rich. The carbon cello costs over 25.000€ and its not better as a regular chello ^^

  • lol this is the easiest string piece to play :) im a cellist and i have to say the five (?) notes get a little repetative :)

  • Love it! :)

I've played a cello quartet version, and the 4th did get quite bored after a while, but then we swapped parts so it was ok

  • cmon you didn't even ask the guy...

  • Yeah, they are changing it up...but it's absolutely beautiful. I love it! I play violin, so I've played this song about a million times...and we usually have the more interesting part. But it can still get kind of boring after a while...I really envy theses guys and their talent.
