  • This performance of Dustin's was much better than his in Rain Man. It's easy for a hard working actor to study and mimick the actions of that of a mentally handicapped person, but you can't study the actions and life of a single, working father going through a rough divorce while raising a son. That takes real acting

  • this is honestly how I learned to make french toast :o)

  • Gosh, haven't seen this since I was eleven when it came out. Anyhow, I still remember this as a particularly poignant scene, with the "dad" trying to inject some normalcy into his young son's life, which is about to be changed forever.....

  • he's obviously not use to doing this

  • grab your own oj next time damn it!

  • the recipe for the french toast is wrong where is the salt you need to add salt otherwise it will taste like shit yet another case of hollywood being sloppy with the facts

  • Streep really makes you hate her guts in this movie; she played a great villain.

  • Also, I think people should be more open minded about what a man/woman is capable of. I mean, a man can cook and clean the house JUST AS WELL, if not better than a woman. A WOMAN can make money at work, or garden and fix mechanical things just as well, if not better than a man. A person's sex does NOT limit them to certain tasks just because many people think it does.

  • I could totally go for some properly made french toast with strawberries and kiwis on top and raw maple syrup. *drool* My dad always made the french toast at my house. Never my mom for some reason, and he always dressed it with berries and fruit. My best friend who lived a few blocks away, his mom would make us french toast with chocolate chips! Moms and Dads can and should cook. I agree that the best chefs are men. That has always been the case in my experience. I'm an excellent cook myself

  • @KIMADIAN Actually, I learned from the clip at the end of the movie, when Ted and the kid have learned to make perfect french toast

  • @KIMADIAN LOL me too!
