I've seen Andre Galvao pull it off at the pan ams and worlds 2008. He does it when someone sits up in half guard. It can also be done when your opponent shoots for a single.

im pretty sure it wouldnt have worked but the guy on the bottom had a great chance of working de la riva guard.
