Ten years ago, the O'Connor farm near Plevna, Montana, switched to a no-till farming system in order to save time, improve soil health and produce forage for their cattle. Bale grazing is one of the tools used on the farm to help accomplish these goals. O'Connor says the practice benefits the cows as well as the soil.
