Typical right-wing criticism...childish name-calling, one-liners, etc... the RETHUGS stand for WAR/military-Industrial complex, "Guns before Butter" the unfettered "free (BS!) market" where corporations do anything for profit. They lie continually, cheat & steal (elections), etc.. could go on. At least some DEMS value LIFE..health care for all, peace & negotiation over war, that Gov't as Lincoln said should be OF, BY & FOR the people (not just the rich & powerful).

Howard Dean squeals like a weasle. It it looks like a weasel, sounds like a weasel and smells like a weasel, must be a weasel. I don't know any dems that have values. The dem party stands for "let it all hang out" and "let's all put out our hand and let the government take care of us", and "no you can't experience the freedoms given by the constituion". The old dems had values and morals. That changed a long time ago, though!

Illinois is quite a varied state in regards to political views, despite being considered a relatively safe "blue state" in recent Presidential and Senate races. Senator Durbin won something like 71% of the vote in his 2008 re-election bid, with many registered Republicans voting for Durbin.

Dick Durbin is a conservative? Huh, I never knew that. Funny how he's from the same state Obama's from and Obama was listed as the most liberal senator while he was in the Senate. Then again Tom Carper is one of the members who has the courage to show himself. and he's from Biden's home state who was listed as the third most liberal senator while he was in the Senate.

Mary Landrieu has been publicly named for being a part of the group. Partly, that is why I guess Cantwell, because she always follows Landrieu when it comes to economic "stuff." Frankly, I have never seen Cantwell as a democrat when it comes to thinks like health care, Iraq, and government funding. I don't think she is worthy being our state's senator.
