@atraxine Actually its more just focused on the Corps. Apparently the Army was sittin pretty compared to them at the time. Anyway, we went into Iraq with that lowered preparedness because of the military cuts that Clinton had pushed through. We try to get upstarted and everyone, esp. in the corps, had to buy their own stuff.

@Nikola9922 Its a war miniseries, so its serious yes, but it is funny as crap too. If you've ever seen Band of Brothers or the Pacific, you will, upon watching Generation Kill, find those two miniseries almost irrelevant in comparison. Sure you may remember the characters, the story, but Generation Kill will blow your mind.

I loved Generation Kill, it was really good. But I hated most of the officers, they were idiots. Except voor that guy Patterson, he was good and I loved Nate. He was a very good guy. But captain America was the biggest idiot I've ever seen, even more stupid then Lt Dike from BoB. Generation kill makes you laugh, makes you feel strange and you connect easy with the soldiers. For me it was a good serie.
