CPS is the same all over the world - they are a ruthless, evil gang of kidnappers, who steal babies and children from good parents, and then send them to foster hell where they will probably be abused, and most surely will suffer. Organize protests in your area - you would be surprised how many parents will join in once they realize they are not alone.

There is a protest Friday, May 1, 2009 at 12 PM, in front of the BC Supreme Court (BC, Canada), 800 Smithe Street, downtown Vancouver.

A friend of mine had a couple of people over. His friends were in bed. Between the 3 of them they drank the 12 pack. A neighbor called the police (too much noise...the front door was open). The police saw the empty 12 pack and asked if there were kids in the house. "They're asleep..8 and 9 yrs old". "Put your hands on your head". They then found a joint. His kids have been missing for 2 months, he lost his job for missing work.

You don't get it. Having dozens of cases doesn't prove anything. No more than I can post dozens of cases where a Jew has stolen money to prove that Jews are stingy or dozens of cases of a black person performing a crime to prove that black people are "niggers". Its cognitive bias, and I can post dozen and dozens of cases of biological parents abusing kids and we can go back and forth for years like that. Thats not proving your claim that most abused children come from foster parents.

@williamwagener i don't live in a bubble, i work in an er and own a preschool and work with CPS everyday. i also know what cognitive bias is and stating one case doesn't prove your argument that most abused children come from foster parents. Try again.

in chains in a back yard shed, like dogs. Cause Soc Worker was Also working at 2nd job when she was suppose to be physically checking on child "welfare". Kids howelled like dogs, 15 year old girl looked like skeleton. It was in the NEWS, but only for 1 day. Then covered up. Your kind of

Well sir, i've personally worked in the ER for 11 years. Your nephew in no way agrees with you. 1.7 million cases of childabuse each year. 833,00 confirmed. 5-10% of children in the ER are victims of child abuse. Which by your argument all of those are biological parents because foster parents don't take them in. And if as you say, most abuses are foster kids, that means theres at least 2 million foster kids being abused and NONE OF THEM GET CAUGHT because you have no evidence for it. sure.

I just love when a lack of evidence for someone's bias is justified by a mass conspiracy. Prof. Stephen Baskerville is an academic. Which means he uses studies and other forms as evidence and support for his argument. Find someone like him that ACTUALLY agrees with you that "most" child abuses are from foster parents and then get back to me.

Why read the book? I've read about 20 reviews online and its a book about unilateral divorce and says nothing about CPS. Its a critique on what he calls the "divorce industry". Its first chapter titled "Judicial Kidnapping" is about courts giving sole custody to just one parent. Nice try, but I bet you don't even have the damn book. You just tried to find a book whose title you THOUGHT fit your argument and pretended you're well versed on the subject.
