We're singing this song in my choir, and I've gotta say, it really sounds much better when only girls sing it... They're still good, though, they're just not showing this song its full potential.

is it just me or their version is really whole step lower? The original key is in G. Yet, according to what ive headr its in F.

Sorry for Funnel, I'm Italian and the title is exactly "praise to the Virgin Mary" and the words was written by Dante Alighieri in his "Commedy" (I don't know the title translate in english :) )
the boys are fantastic, I'm studying this song for my choir and it is really hard!

You're quite correct, chrisbatesaz. Lauda means praise. I think we can substitute "unaccompanied TREBLE voices" for the phrase "unaccompanied FEMALE voices" here -- especially when this group has such a wonderful sound.
Congratulations on a job well done!
A very talented bunch.
It's kinda funny. The name of the song means "unaccompanied female voices" in Italian, but it's being performed by the Phoenix !BOYS! Choir. kinda ironic.

Thanks for your positive comment. However, doesn't it mean, "Praise to the Virgin Mary?"
