I loved this movie. A great job by all involved, and most of them were playing against type which was a treat to see.

Don't get me wrong, I love the BIlly Squire version of this song, but this version sticks in my head and I might just love it more...it's John's voice, singing it with a hint of accent, plus all the emotions that the movie build up and dump into that scene.
I just sound terrible trying to hit those high notes, and John just sings them out.

This movie seems boring to you Jeff perhaps because your experiences don't relate to that of the characters. It would have been more accurate if you prefaced your response with "In my opinion..." I happen to appreciate this movie. That is especially true after reconnecting with good friends from back in the day. And this closing brings it all home. Thumbs up to Ed Burns!
