The first ten minutes of a half hour tour of Sagamore Hill, a National Historic Site, and home of Theodore Roosevelt, 26Th president of The United States. Hosted by Charles Markis of the US National Park Service.
I have had a chance to visit Sagamore Hill in the fall of 1983 and the fall foliage at that time would have pleased TR if he was around in 1983. The house itself is a true historical monument in itself.
Oh my goodness, this video is brand new. Thank you for adding this! :) I'm extremely interested in Theodore Roosevelt and how he lived. Not many people know that TR intended this house for his first wife before she died or that it was originally called Leeholm. I loved seeing the inside. It makes the people seem so real, not like long ago mythical figures.
