TPO demonstrations at the GCR 'Lostock Hall and a Few Smoking Barrels' Winter Steam Gala, 300110

Apologies for the Late upload, its taken me a while to get my video editing software sorted!
Over the weekend of 29-31 January 2010 the Great Central Railway held their annual Winter Steam Gala, and this event was one of the biggest galas the railway has ever held. The theme was Lostock Hall and a Few Smoking Barrels, and locomotives were hired in to replicate one of the last steam sheds in 1968. The Railway hired in 4 guest locomotives and operated 4 of their own, meaning an 8 loco line up. The final roster was:

It was a thoroughly enjoyable event, despite the fact that due to unknown reasons some passenger trains ran half an hour behind schedule and were stuck for a good 15 minutes just north at Quorn waiting for the section to clear. A couple of freight trains were even cancelled to try and keep the passenger services on time, and 42968 and 44767 ended up swapping duties around lunch time. I have lost a record of which trains I rode on, but I rode behind every locomotive except 45231. I met up with Jules46443 and 34027 and would like to thank them for the company. I would also like to thank the GCR for putting on such an Outstanding event, and you for taking your time to watch this.
