Thanks for the informative review. I do not at all share, however, your dislike of rim brakes. I've biked, and worked professionally on bikes, for four decades and find as many problems with disc brakes in extreme conditions as I do with rim brakes. Maybe you could tell us what your complaint is with rim brakes so we would understand the advantages with the disc brakes.
