  • We have been tied up with a big rollout of the EduBook in Indonesia. Oke shops is about to roll out the EduBook. We have been tweaking a version of Ubuntu here. We will have the metal version of the InfoPad very soon. We have the touch screens ready. We changed the design to make it lighter. We also have a plastic case in the works.

  • I have 3 questions:

    1. which os do you deliver with the system?

    2. how much is shipping to germny for 1 unit

    3. do you know if i can run CE on it?

  • 1. We deliver either Windows or Linux.

    2. Shipping one unit to Germany is expensive -- about $55.00. We are hoping for dealers there.

    3. CE can run but for CE you can get by with a less expensive unit that runs a ARM or other RISC chip.

  • Any news on when this and the surfboard comes out?

  • The production surfboard comes out about Mid February and we will be read to take order then.

  • Does the VGA port mean the graphics is dual-head or is it just mirrored? Also I couldn't find what resolutions / aspect ratios are supported by the graphics chipset.

Also, is there an extra power socket for the in-car charging? And btw is there one on the EduBook?

  • We can provide the option to power from a car system but not in car charge. The VGA doesn' work dual head -- it is either or. The resolutions supported at 16 at 1280 x 720, 1280 x 768, 1280 x 960, 1280 x 1024, 1366x768, 1400 x 1050, 1680 x 1050.

  • @norhloudspeaker Whatever happened to the Info Pad?

  • @norhloudspeaker Thanks for the update and I am glad it's going well =)

also I have asked before but when will paypal be a payment option on your webshop?

  • How is the info pad project going?

I haven't seen any updates on your page or on youtube.

    I hope it's going well.

  • @SuperAnonymousJoe

We are doing two versions. One uses a metal case and the other plastic. We have been making the case lighter and lighter. We have been building kiosks based on the design already but kiosks don't haveto be light. Next week, I will have the latest metal case and we will have the plastic case in six weeks.

  • I like it, really glad I found this =)

the AA battery idea is excellent, and I am amazed at the said operation time =)

what is the volt required to run that thing?

what about durability, and do you guys have a onlineshop?

  • Thanks. Very fast response too, nice!
