Well people said everywhere no one could pass jimmie johnson on the raetrack but jeff gordon sure as hell did o yeah only on 2 tires too and johnson had 4 really makes me start wondering if most of the media has a clue about what there talking about i think not or maybe jimmie isnt as good as they say he is which theyll never know cause nascar keeps changing shit. NASCAR IS GOING DOWN HILL FAST its just not good racing anymore. Ill buy a $20 ticket to eldora before i go to anymore cup races!

I agree. And that shows that Jeff Gordon is a hell of a racer - to pass Jimmie when he only had 2 tires and Jimmie had 4.

if jeff wouldve gotten 4 tires then he probably couldve put up a better fight and possibly won

I have to disagree slightly. If they would have put 4 tires on, Jeff would have started worse than 8th position, and the whole race to that point, Jeff was absolutely terrible in traffic. He could not pass anyone. I think it was the right move to give him 2 and get him up front to at least give him a chance. He just wasn't going to pass anyone in traffic.

but hes still critising NASCAR.. its okay, but again I just dont know how to describe it
First four races, JPM almost as good as Johnson, both having good luck 5th race, Montoya runs into horrible luck, Jimmie just keeps winning Thats very interesting, isnt it? And I just dont think Jimmie is gonna have bad luck.. too perfect..
(although I hope so, Gordons looking good, but theyve gotta work on this car in traffic man)

If Johnson would just run into trouble, then Jeff would win more races. Jimmie is the only thing that is standing between Jeff Gordon and victory lane. At this race in 2007, Johnson was dominating and Jeff also had a good car. Then Johnson spun out, and Jeff won the race. That's all Jeff needs now - for the 48 to just make a mistake. Jeff can't do much better than what he is doing. It doesn't matter how good he does. If the 48 does a tad better every week, then Jeff won't gain any points.
