Dog in Booties

Meet Hazel the Wonder Dog.

Hazel was adopted. We believe that she is part cocker spaniel and part cavalier king charles spaniel, although many have asked if she is part dachsund, thanks to her long torso and duck feet.

Normally, Hazel loves this snow; however, on this particular Minnesota night, we were experiencing -30 degree windchills. The snow and cold was painful on poor Hazel's feet, which caused her to do a 3-legged doggy dance.

Later in the evening, she was getting restless. I decided to try to booties so as to give her feet a break from some harsh cold. This is a video of Hazel getting acclimated to her boots.
